Note Submitter: tim at timj dot co dot uk ---- Unfortunately it does not appear to be possible to handle errors properly with parse_ini_file(). A file with syntax errors (e.g. an exclamation mark) throws an E_WARNING and the function returns an empty array (the same as if the file was empty) rather than FALSE.
