note 85549 added to function.mail

Hi Guys, Is there possible to know that the status of my mail opened or not by my recipient. For clearly , my mail id myid@yahoo.com and my client ids client@hotmail.com. I have sucessfuly sent a mail to my client. Now i want to know whether my mail was opened or not opened by my client. Is there possible if my mail is opened by my client then i must get the confirmation mail with mail open msg.
