It would be a *REALLY GOOD IDEA* to make more obvious that session support is now apparently (for
reasons I'm sure make perfect sense to everyone but me) an extension!
I just installed php5.1.5 from the fBSD 6.2 discs on a toy server and was getting a "function
undefined" on session_set_save_handler, which was totally bewildering since I tend to think of
sessions as very definitely cake, not frosting! It took me ages before I finally stumbled across
the information about the change, because searching on "session" in the docs doesn't
even allude to that key piece of information.
(If I sound crabby about this, I apologise - it's been a long day!)
