I don't care if this note gets deleted as long as it's seen by the right people first... Can somebody who knows what they're talking about PLEASE update the entry for "preg_replace" to indicate how named captures are referenced in the replacement string, or if they aren't supported? I've searched high and low and cannot find ANYPLACE where it says "yes you can referenced named captures in a replacement string and here's how it works..." or "no you cannot reference named captures in the replacement string for preg_replace". ---- Server IP: 69.147.83.197 Probable Submitter: 71.198.27.169 ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.preg-replace.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/86906 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/86906/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/86906/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/86906/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/86906/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/86906/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/86906/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/86906 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/86906 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
