----
Beware, this function is BROKEN! The escape character within a field is supposed to be a doubling of
the enclosure character, yet sometimes php sees a backslash as the escape sequence. Thanks to broken
php implementation, this function cannot be for serious business.
<?
// proper output is: "hello""there"
// (which php gets correct)
fputcsv($fh, array('hello"there'));
// proper output is: "hello\""there"
// ( php fails, by giving: "hello\"there" )
fputcsv($fh, array('hello\"there'));
?>
