Wow, useless. Why is it every other programming language only requires adding the library to the
system but PHP requires an entire recompile? Want to do something in C/C++? Add the library. Want
to do something in Perl? Add the module. Want to do something in Java? Add the library. Want to
do something in PHP? Add the library and then recompile PHP hoping you remember what flags you
turned on last time so that PHP continues to function as previously as well as provide the new
functionality.
