In addiction to the "noels01 at gmx dot net": I've got the same configuration need in
Gentoo Linux sshd_config.
This is an answer to "ammarmar at wp dot pl" too: no, you cannot override an sshd
configuration requirements. If you can do it, post a very urgent bug to sshd developers!!!
In addiction to "wally at soggysoftware dot co dot uk": I make use of this workaround to
write on the local (remote) filesystem via PHP scripts since many years.
There are many different solutions for that (Apache suexec and more), but they're complitcated
and often not userful...
Logging in via the sshd authentication is easy and almost alway possible!
Stop to "chmod 777" or "chown apache" methods!
