VARCHAR length problem.
I used to have a varchar field in the DB with a length of 900. I tried many things but there was no
way for PHP to set (and also to read!) a field of more than 255 chars.
I modified my DB: instead of VARCHAR I now use TEXT in this field, also updated my stored procedure
definitions, and my mssql_bind() statements:
mssql_bind($stmt, "@memo1d", $_POST["r_Memo1D"], SQLTEXT);
Still, there is a limit at approx 4090 but that is enough for me.
