The issue mentioned by PyRo is not solved by the replacement of the dll. Even with the 8.0 version,
the same error occurs.
This fixed the problem in my environment:
- change the php.ini: "mssql.secure_connection = On" in the extension section for mssql.
- restart the IIS
- set up the mssql with the proper user settings (e.g. for iusr_servername) for the database.
