I am trying to find a function which will change escaped characters to what they're supposed to be.. like for example I have a string "\x3C\x99\n\r\t" I want to know a function that will change that to whatever its special meaning would be, I don't know how to explain it really.. but.. I need to find a function which will "unescape" it, stripslashes just removes the \ from \x3C and leaves "x3C" instead of processing \x3C as it should.. someone help me :) ---- Server IP: 209.41.74.194 Probable Submitter: 24.188.191.35 ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.stripslashes.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/87719 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/87719/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/87719/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/87719/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/87719/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/87719/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/87719/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/87719 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/87719 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
