I'm trying to get upload progress with apc_fetch, too. I'm succeeded the upload progress
using APC.
If you want see the upload progress when uploading files, you have to set enough large upload size
in 'PHP.ini'
If you try to upload the file of over size, 'apc_fetch' function return 'false',
always.
