note 87876 added to function.include

I got a problem with my simple php include program. I am using the same example to understand the
problem. This is my files :
vars.php
<?php
$renk = 'yeÅil';
$meyve = 'elma';
?>
dnm.php
<?php
echo "Bir $renk $meyve"; // -> Bir
include 'vars.php';
echo "Bir $renk $meyve"; // -> Bir yeÅil elma
?>
You can see the Turkish words. If i run the dnm.php final is like that :
Bir Bir yesil elma
As you can see there is no Turkish character on the result. Pls help me how to fix this problem.
