note 87984 added to sockets.installation

Note that under windows you just need to uncomment the line ;extension=php_mysql.dll so that it looks like extension=php_mysql.dll (without the ; at the start) in your php.ini (in the directory c:\program files\PHP\php.ini) If that line isn't in there, you probably have a custom php install. In that case you need to add the line to php.ini and download the sockets dll. In order to get the php_sockets.dll: - Download the regular php zip file from http://www.php.net/downloads.php - Find the dll in the ext directory - Extract the php_sockets.dll to the ext directory of your install (probably at c:\program files\PHP\ext) ---- Server IP: 190.2.55.3 Probable Submitter: 190.246.17.187 ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/sockets.installation.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/87984 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/87984/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/87984/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/87984/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/87984/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/87984/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/87984/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/87984 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/87984 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
