I've recently found that using: str_replace("value", "value2", $my_string) will NOT work. Instead, you must now use single quotes: str_replace('value', 'value2', $my_string) Many thanks to php for NOT including this change in the change log and wasting 2 DAYS of my time trying to work out what was wrong. ---- Server IP: 92.48.74.199 Probable Submitter: 87.112.27.92 ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.str-replace.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/88090 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/88090/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/88090/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/88090/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/88090/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/88090/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/88090/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/88090 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/88090 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
