fopen with w+:
Open for reading and writing; place the file pointer at the beginning of the file and truncate the
file to zero length. If the file does not exist, attempt to create it.
in the second case, it will be:
<?php
$f = fopen($filename, 'w+'); // Now file specified in the $filename will be zero byte
length
echo filesize($filename); //now filesize return zero
fclose($f);
?>
Did you mean that or something other?
