In PHP4, when you post the following form element, <input type="text"
name="xyz">, you can just refer to it on the "action" page as $xyz to access
it. In PHP5, however, you have to refer to it as $_POST['xyz'] to access it.
In similar fashion you have to refer to a GET variable as $_GET['abc'] in PHP5 and not
just $abc.
Is there any way that you can configure PHP5 to just refer to $xyz and not to
$_POST['xyz'] or to $abc and not to $_GET['abc']?
