The ibm_db2 extension is no longer found in the tar/gz supplied. In order to have the ibm_db2
extension running it is necessary to run pecl and install the pecl extension by passing the command:
"pecl install ibm_db2"
The pecl ibm_db2 component could be found at :
http://pecl.php.net/package/ibm_db2
It is necessary then to declare the extension in an .ini file with:
extension = ibm_db2.so
