The []= operator doesn't exist, and it's not even a compound operator like it is +=, or *= (the [] operator doesn't exist). The code is interpreted like $array[] = $value, that is a normal assignment made to an array item, but without to give a value to the index. ---- Server IP: 213.92.11.19 Probable Submitter: 83.103.77.214 ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/language.operators.assignment.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/88540 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/88540/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/88540/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/88540/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/88540/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/88540/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/88540/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/88540 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/88540 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
