One note: In Step 4, you should add to the PATH, not the CLASSPATH, thus avoiding the need to perform Step 8. To test php is configured, create a test.php file at: C:\apache-2.2\htdocs\test.php and enter the following into it in notepad: <?php phpinfo(); ?> Save and load the page at http://localhost:8080/test.php and you should see your PHP information.
