note 88685 added to function.mysql-ping

If you get 'error 2006: MySQL server has gone away' messages when running (really) long scripts, mysql_ping will help detecting the loss of the db-connection. This can happen, when 'wait timeout' is reached (MySQL default is 8 hours). ---- Server IP: 213.92.11.19 Probable Submitter: 79.25.108.7 (proxied: 222.141.222.242) ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.mysql-ping.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/88685 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/88685/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/88685/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/88685/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/88685/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/88685/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/88685/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/88685 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/88685 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
