i had to use the czech representation of time on unix machine, running debian and linux version of
apache with php 4
for me the best solution was to use this code:
<?php
setlocale(LC_ALL, 'cs_CZ.iso88592');
?>
then you can do everything in czech language with correct iso-8859-2 encoding ;D
