The above page lies - it claims to accept US English, but putting in "5-1-2012" results in
a timestamp that, when re-formatted, gives me "January 5th, 2012", not "May 1rst,
2012" like you'd expect. I had to reorder it to read 1-5-2012 to get the correct stamp -
the UK English style.
