Hello, I have a problem with something like this

function getName()
{
$a = 'ddd';
return a;
}
$b = 'b';
echo "This is the value of the var named by the return value of getName():
{${getName()}}";
?>
and I get
This is the value of the var named by the return value of getName():
Why this don`t work?, if it was here described.
