When connecting, I get the following error:
SECURITY PROBLEM: insecure server advertised AUTH=PLAIN
I tried to pass a flag of 0 but it makes no difference. It seems as if OP_SECURE is enabled by
default and can't be disabled.
Anyone have any information on this?
Lectures on sending plain text passwords over unencrypted connections are unwelcome. This is a
self-contained testing server with no network access talking to itself over loopback.
