I have never had to configure PHP, and this statement makes no sense to me because I don't know
if this refers to a config file or an option to use while compiling, or even if GD is something
I'm going to have to download or if it is already part of PHP. There will be other noobs
setting up LAMP servers for the first time landing here, so a link to some guidance would be good.
Ubuntu command-line instructions perhaps?
