Referring to "This-Is-A-Test" constant below. When echoing it the script thinks you performing a series of minus (subtraction) thus since THIS and IS, A, TEST are not defined they are 0 by default. So 0-0-0-0 = 0. As explained that a hyphen cannot be used within a variable. ---- Server IP: 92.48.74.199 Probable Submitter: 212.159.109.67 ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.define.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/89451 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/89451/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/89451/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/89451/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/89451/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/89451/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/89451/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/89451 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/89451 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
