Lolz, they deleted both my posts even though only one of them infringed the rules for posting. Thank you for deleting a post which partial purpose was to inform the PHP-programmers about a possible bug. Well, I guess I'll just have to report once again. The following is impossible: class A { public function WriteName() { "Thomas" }; } class B { public $A = new A(); // -or- public $A = new A; public function B() { $this->A->WriteName(); } } The line causing the parse error is the "public $A" line, which by the way is completely legal in the C language in which PHP is made. ---- Server IP: 195.184.96.15 Probable Submitter: 212.242.113.145 ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.strpos.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/89639 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/89639/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/89639/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/89639/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/89639/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/89639/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/89639/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/89639 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/89639 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
