Using <?php ini_set('display_errors', 1); ?> at the top of your script will not catch any parse errors. A missing ")" or ";" will still lead to a blank page. As suggested in the note above, this is because the entire script is parsed before any of it is executed. If you are unable to change php.ini and set display_errors On then there is a possible solution suggested under error_reporting: <?php error_reporting(E_ALL); ini_set("display_errors", 1); include("file_with_errors.php"); ?> ---- Server IP: 92.48.74.199 Probable Submitter: 212.159.111.233 ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/errorfunc.configuration.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/89648 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/89648/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/89648/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/89648/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/89648/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/89648/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/89648/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/89648 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/89648 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
