To include a non-breaking space in the date function, use:
<?php
echo date("d&\\nb\sp;M&\\nb\sp;Y&\\nb\sp;H:i:s");
?>
Prints out something like:
5 Feb 2009 14:22:09
This overcomes word-wrapping problems in tables in Internet Explorer.
