In the previous examples of recursive rmdir, people should take care to use the proper way of
calling readdir:
<?
while (false !== ($file = readdir($dir))) {
// do some stuff with $file
}
?>
If you don't use this syntax, the loop will halt if it ever comes across a file named
'0'.
