Note Submitter: antcampos1 at iol dot pt ---- having a file in excel i wanted to read it without the use of ,say excelreader for exemple. so i build an odbc and with a short php program i had read it. however when i tried to put a condition in the sql ( where.....) i did not knew the names of the columns.... the odbc_columns is quite complex and take me a while to set up it!!! (where $table_name is the name of the sheet with a $ at the end!) for someone that will need it: $filen="C:\mydocuments\zka1.xls"; $colis=odbc_columns($acesso,$filen,NULL,$table_name); odbc_fetch_row($colis); echo odbc_result_all($colis);
