I am happily married; but all I've ever wanted in life was to have children... naturally or by adoption, and lots of children! The cards were dealt, and no children it was. I'm trying to accept this gracefully, since the year 2000. But, it seems as though I am fighting a losing battle. I was hoping that mabey my husband and I, would be abe to adopt. My husband was very uncofortable with the "red tape" and other resons. And I truly believe that both spouses need to be on the "same page" expecially when children, eldery and pets are concerned. So, we have a very small family of our own; us and a pooch, King Rex. He has the right to feel the way he does, and I truly respect his honesty. Besides, I've been extremely "sick" with Endometriosis for too many years; had four female surgeries and then got a hysterectomy w/ no ovaries left. (I wonder how he still puts up with me!) But, we've been happily married for over 24 years now. We had two "Beagle-Brothers" in the past, whom have passed away. And now we have a "Heinz 57" very sweet pooch. He has the brightest light blue eyes and dard red hair! He is totally awesome; liking almost every person on the face of the Earth, along with other doggies... Plus he makes a fantastic pillow! lol I feel that if I don't add some humor into this equation; I'll never get through. Can any of you relate to how I feel?
