This bug was fixed in PHP 5.2.6 (#44478)
However beware that the addChild method require input to be entity encoded. IE. you can NOT input
"one & two" you have to input "one & two".
Assigning directly (aside from the bug fixed in 5.2.6) does not have this requirement.
