In case you’re wondering, what is the meaning of „S“ modifier, this paragraph might be useful: When „S“ modifier is set, PHP calls the pcre_study() function from the PCRE API before executing the regexp. Result from the function is passed directly to pcre_exec(). For more information about pcre_study() and „Studying the pattern“ check the PCRE manual on http://www.pcre.org/pcre.txt PS: Note that function names „pcre_study“ and „pcre_exec“ used here refer to PCRE library functions written in C language and not to any PHP functions. ---- Server IP: 212.24.129.51 Probable Submitter: 89.24.37.170 ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/reference.pcre.pattern.modifiers.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/90967 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/90967/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/90967/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/90967/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/90967/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/90967/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/90967/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/90967 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/90967 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
