It is possible to configure IIS so that user authentication is against an NT domain. Giving read & execute permissions to the IUSR_* user only helps for anonymous access. For non-anonymous, give "Domain Users" read & execute permissions: c:> cacls %COMSPEC% /E /G %USERDOMAIN%\Domain Users:R or more specifically: c:> cacls c:\windows\system32\cmd.exe /E /G MYDOMAIN\Domain Users:R For security reasons, it is strongly advised to NOT provide the IUSR_* access to cmd.exe at all. ---- Server IP: 208.69.120.35 Probable Submitter: 38.99.165.166 ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.exec.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/91034 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/91034/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/91034/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/91034/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/91034/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/91034/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/91034/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/91034 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/91034 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
