Maceo; To let you know, I've deleted the note that you contributed to the PHP manual several hours ago (found below) because there is no explanation of what the function does, nor comments to explain the actions. While to many programmers it is quite obvious what you're doing, to some - particularly the less-experienced developers - it is not obvious at all.
