mjs at beebo dot org is not quite right. You can get redirects to be handled automatically by
setting the 'redirect' option:
<?php
$request = new HttpRequest($url, HTTP_METH_GET, array('redirects' => 10));
$response = $request->send();
?>
Also following redirects forever is generally a bad idea - it may be an infinite loop.
