Correction: below lines with division in them should instead have a comma in them.

return bcdiv(bcln($a, $iter) / bcln("2", $iter));
?>
should be:
<?php
return bcdiv(bcln($a, $iter), bcln("2", $iter));
?>
Also remember to change for base10 logs as well.
