I think php may give two variables like $_POST for original post and $_quoted_POST for quoted post Since quoted post is not SQL safe. It just confuse people. If you need to to show a form with previously entered (posted) value, you need to strip the quote! So the best way is to provide two $_POST variable. So user decides which to use ---- Server IP: 59.188.18.107 Probable Submitter: 222.167.54.235 ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/security.magicquotes.whynot.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/92313 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/92313/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/92313/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/92313/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/92313/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/92313/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/92313/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/92313 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/92313 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
