In the case if pcntl_sigtimedwait() is unavailable (under Mac OS, under PHP < 5.3), you can pick up the workaround: if (!function_exists('pcntl_sigtimedwait')) { function pcntl_sigtimedwait($signals,$siginfo,$sec,$nano) { pcntl_signal_dispatch(); if (time_nanosleep($sec,$nano) === TRUE) {return FALSE;} pcntl_signal_dispatch(); return TRUE; } } Behaviour of this function differs from original one. This function returns true if a signal was retrieved and false if it was not retrieved. However, the timeout will be interrupted immediately when signal sent. ---- Server IP: 195.54.192.44 Probable Submitter: 86.62.99.33 ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.pcntl-sigtimedwait.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/92483 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/92483/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/92483/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/92483/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/92483/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/92483/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/92483/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/92483 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/92483 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
