note 92698 added to function.syslog

Hi there. I'm doing this final project regarding document management system. I have a table in the database called documents, which contains the docID, docName, date, desc, etc. I want to set up a logging system that can retrieve data from this table and post it up on the website. I'd like to ask someone to give a sample source code on how to record the logging of the sent documents with php & getting the data from sql?
