It is very interesting accoding to the last 2 notes. For example(When you use [] in value, you would get): yarco@coto ~ $ cat test.ini [global] key = 'obj->arrays[0]' yarco@coto ~ $ php -a Interactive shell php > print_r(parse_ini_file('test.ini', true)); Array ( [global] => Array ( [key] => 'obj->arrays ) [0] => Array ( ) ) But you could use double quotes to avoid this to make really what you want. So it would break our mind. Normal thinking, the single quotes would keep everything in its original and double quotes would escape them... ---- Server IP: 222.73.227.205 Probable Submitter: 116.232.132.102 ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.parse-ini-file.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/92982 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/92982/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/92982/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/92982/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/92982/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/92982/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/92982/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/92982 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/92982 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
