note 93150 added to language.variables.external

Interestingly enough under PHP 5.2.x, neither Wayne's nor Jonas Lindel's examples seem to work. I keep getting the error: Cannot re-assign $this in .... which I think is because it's a core name/object in PHP 5.x and higher.
