note 93212 added to migration53.removed-extensions

The MSSQL extension is no longer present in the 5.3.0 release, but this fact is not mentioned on this page. Perhaps that should be added. It seems that the recommended solution is to use "SQL Server Driver for PHP" by Microsoft (http://www.microsoft.com/sqlserver/2005/en/us/php-driver.aspx). However, it is reported that the current release (v1.0) does not support PHP 5.3.0 (see http://forums.iis.net/t/1158918.aspx). Apparently, v1.1 will support PHP 5.3, but it is currently in CTP release. ---- Server IP: 209.41.74.194 Probable Submitter: 198.161.248.1 ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/migration53.removed-extensions.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/93212 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/93212/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/93212/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/93212/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/93212/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/93212/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/93212/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/93212 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/93212 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
