note 93431 added to function.move-uploaded-file

Just wanted to add the fact that (at least on my system: Fedora 11) if you don't use move_uploaded_file, the file immediately disappears from /tmp. So it is not as if files would accumulate in that directory. And there is no error message in error_log.
