Just a quick note about MAX_FILE_SIZE: Using php 5.2.6, it seems that PHP only ever gets to read this value after the entire file (whatever size is offered by the browser) is downloaded to the temp directory by apache. Only at that point does PHP discard the post request (but still runs the script). I don't have shell access on the server to verify this. Obviously it is a big waste of bandwidth and disk space. Can anyone verify? ---- Server IP: 69.147.83.197 Probable Submitter: 203.206.8.170 ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/features.file-upload.post-method.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/93519 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/93519/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/93519/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/93519/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/93519/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/93519/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/93519/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/93519 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/93519 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
