I think there is a bug while creating files. When I use the UTF-8 charset and use chars like
ä,ö,ü the written file is not valid.
So
$xml->asXML("datei.xml");
and
file_put_contents("datei.xml",$xml->asXML());
deliver different results. The second is valid and correct.
