I could not understand the note at the end. I tried to think why it was unsafe to write $user ==
USER && $pass == PASS and I could think of no good reason.
Either: 1. It has been corrected - and the note wrongly mentions the correction
2. It needs correcting, but there is no indication AT ALL of why it should not be used.
