Some documentation on mysqli.connect_charset directive (appeared between 5.1.6 and 5.2.9) would be
appreciated...
I had to set it to "latin1" to make it work querying a latin1_swedish_ci table, while
leaving it undefined I got this error:
"Illegal mix of collations (latin1_swedish_ci,IMPLICIT) and (utf8_general_ci,COERCIBLE)"
