This wasn't clear to me but if using the directives parameter double quotes will get eaten by the shell but single quotes will get passed on and used by php. Example: to modify the include_path with some wierdish characters you would do. C:>php.exe -d "include_path='C:\Program Files (x86)\Zend\Zend Server\bin'" ---- Server IP: 69.147.83.197 Probable Submitter: 75.41.95.94 ---- Manual Page -- http://www.php.net/manual/en/features.commandline.php Edit -- https://master.php.net/note/edit/93729 Del: integrated -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/93729/integrated Del: useless -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/93729/useless Del: bad code -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/93729/bad+code Del: spam -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/93729/spam Del: non-english -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/93729/non-english Del: in docs -- https://master.php.net/note/delete/93729/in+docs Del: other reasons-- https://master.php.net/note/delete/93729 Reject -- https://master.php.net/note/reject/93729 Search -- https://master.php.net/manage/user-notes.php
